Anderson Electronic Component Distribution is a specialized multi-franchised stocking distributor of quartz crystals, oscillators, and resonators, based in Northern California’s Silicon Valley.

The Ask

Anderson needed a dynamic website so buyers could find parts without starting from a phone call. MagicLamp’s custom design puts part-number search on the home page, with manufacturer browsing, quantity in stock, standard lead times, and a path into quote or cart.

Once a buyer searches, results list part number, manufacturer, short description, stock, package quantity, and RoHS status, with a details link for each row. The site also carries Company, Products, Quote, Policies, Contact, and Log In for returning customers.

Technologies Used

Anderson’s custom CMS is written using DotNetNuke and ASP Classic. SQL backs the part-number search, manufacturer lists, and stock quantities so staff can keep inventory current without a developer ticket for every part.
