DICOM Image Uploader

A clinical physician needed a secure, cross-platform way to get DICOM images from a CD-ROM or local folder into a related web application, without making the desktop feel like a hospital IT manual.

The uploader runs on Mac or Windows, parses metadata through bytestreams, groups .dcm files by study and series, and lists them in a simple UI for secure upload. It was written in Mono.Mac (now Xamarin), accepts drag-and-drop of entire directories, and was built against HIPAA guidelines and DICOM standards.
